“Setup cannot extract the disk drive letter from the MAS 90 directory path… etc etc etc”
The Windows 7 and above operating systems are unsupported for running MAS 90, so you will run into quirks/issues installing because the MAS 90 Workstation setup program included in the install directory does not recognize Win 7 mapped drives correctly.
The workaround is to simply use the MAS90 CD to install the software.
Insert the CD into the drive and let the AutoRun play…or run the AutoRun from the CD. Click the icon for Workstation Setup, browse to the mapped network location for MAS 90, and then let it install the Workstation files.
**You may receive a warning that “AnswerWorks setup failed to launch”
You can ignore this and continue.
