You may get an error like this one: “Access violation at address 005ab2d6 in module RTHDCPL.EXE. Read of address 70532D60”.

The first thing you need to try is updating your audio drivers.

In my case I was using drivers from 2007 so I updated from version 5.10.0.5397 to version 5.10.0.6410 dated 7/7/2011

To get drivers goto RealTek’s website at: http://www.realtek.com
