Phone kept defaulting to Enterprise Activation for email and wouldn’t allow the user to setup personal Internet email on the device.
When trying to setup email from Messages–>Options–>Email Account Management it would display an error: “Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless provider.”
Solution was to do a hard reboot (take battery out and put back in) and then select the proper email setup from the Setup section. When I did this, the phone asked me to update the Email Setup Application to the newest version. It will prompt to Reboot, then when it comes up simply run the Email setup again and select Internet account.
