Mailmeter – Error Setting Up Environment


Error Setting Up Environment – Error in setup of installed products.  Permission denied

This error button may appear when you are Activating a new License Key.  If so, make sure that you have closed all the control panel applet windows after stopping the services. And also check the Services list directly to make sure that all of them are stopped.  In my case, the Job Dispatcher service was still running and causing this error.  After stopping I was able to run the Activation wizard no problem.  Don’t forget to restart the service after you are done with the wizard.
