Without warning, the computer shuts off.
2/20/07 – Computer was making noises like a fan or drive is malfunctioning. Opened up, the PS fan was blocked from spinning by one of the cables. Freed the fan and waited for system to cool. Restarted system, still has issue. PS may be burned up internally. Swapped with new PS and restarted. Will monitor.
2/20/07 11am – Issue persisted. Checked system again; chassis fan not turning. Tested with good chassis fan, it appears the connectors on the motherboard are bad. Got adaptor for the power and hooked original fan back up.
Will monitor.
