Can’t see a printer in the Directory


There are many causes of this issue, but in my case it had to do with having a couple different subnets and a Group Policy that didn’t allow access to File/Print Sharing to that subnet.

Don’t forget that after you change the GPO, you can refresh the policy on the client computer by going to a command prompt and running gpupdate.exe.
